Quote of the CENTURY!!!

Let me start by saying that Phillip is a very "private" person when it comes to the girls being in the bathroom while he is showering. (we have a clear shower door on our shower) So if I'm in there getting ready I politely redirect them to go and play or watch a show on TV, if I'm not in there then we close the door to the bedroom until dad is FULLY clothed (because Savannah just laughs when she sees Phillip in his underwear and says that he's "silly")

All that being said let me set the scene:

Tonight I loaded the girls in the car to run up to our local Little Cesar's and get a pizza. While we were gone Phillip was supposed to be showering and getting ready for our date night. Well unlike our usual experience the pizza was actually ready and there was no one in line in front of us. We were in and out! When we arrive at home we pile back in the house and I head to the kitchen to set the pizza down. As I'm headed to the kitchen I can see the girls heading into our bedroom. I also hear the shower water still running so I sweetly say, "Girls come out of the bathroom and let daddy finish getting ready." A couple of seconds later they came out and I starting getting dinner on the table. Suddenly Phillip was standing in the kitchen with his bath towel wrapped around his waist, a smirk on his face, telling me that Savannah had caught him off guard in the bathroom. He was washing his face and didn't see her in there. She proceeded to tell him this:

"Daddy your bottom looks like a hot dog!"

OMG!!!! I thought I was going to pee in my pants right there on the kitchen floor!!! Even now thinking and writing about this scene makes me laugh until I have tears in my eyes. HYSTERICAL!!!! We need to have a little baby boy so these things can be explained in a more appropriate way.

Possibly Picasso

So I'm just going to skip right over the fact that it has been 2 months since my last blog and move right into my new post...

Over Christmas break we met up with one of Savannah's friends from school, Lochlynn, and went to paint pottery.

The girls had a blast while Sandra and I tried to keep the paint off of them and their clothes. It was definitely a more expensive endeavor than I had planned, but we had fun and have something to show for it.
